Tsunago K.K. is currently working to rollout a new social video training program to Hilton Hotels across Japan. We`re combining our videography, web and design abilities to create a unique platform for Hilton staff to shoot low-cost, high quality videos of hotel events for use online and in social media. Tsunago is creating a website, tutorial videos, and printed materials, and training staff and coordinating the project launch at multiple locations.

Neways Japan wanted an application powerful enough to display massive amounts of information in an intuitive manner, and one that would satisfy demanding sales representatives with a comprehensive set of features and simple, beautiful design. Tsunago was brought on board to design and code dynamic data charts, a recipe book, flipchart presentations, and a product catalogue. The application displays thousands of products, news items, recipes, presentations and videos, bringing the sales tool to life for it`s users.

The Hilton Marketing team asked us for an application that would be both functional and simple to use for guests, and would also get media attention. Tsunago proposed, designed and coded the "i-no-Concierge" application to meet these requirements, and filled 10 versions of it with hundreds of content items in four languages in time for the press conference. The application was rolled out to 10 Hilton Hotels in Japan. Cool features include google maps, wifi print-outs, content updates by web, and a groovy interface.

Tourism Newspaper for Mynavi Corporation

Tsunago designed, managed and oversaw production of this inbound-tourism orientated newspaper for Mainavi`s tourism brand "Japan-i". Tsunago was responsible for all aspects of production including writing, translation, photography, permissions and design. 36 issues were produced over 3 years, with the last issue being printed in Mar. 2012. Contents were produced in the areas of travel, culture, shopping, dining and fashion in Japan, in two print editions, one in English, and another in Chinese.

Tourism Guidebook for Mynavi Corporation

Mainavi asked Tsunago to write, shoot and produce a tourist guidebook for domestic publication inside Japan. Unique written and photographic contents for 212 pages were produced on traditional and modern culture, fashion, shopping, sports, theatre, dining, history, and more. The book was distributed to bookstores in around Japan and on Amazon.co.jp. An accompanying iPhone application allowed users to "shake" to get relevant location-tagged articles.

Website Rebuild for Japan-i (Mynavi)

After two years of online publication, Mainavi decided to rebuild the japan-i.jp website to make it more accessible, SEO friendly, and to better capture the interest of it`s readers. The new site was broken into new "niche" subdomains for travel, dining, shopping, culture and fashion. Special versions of the site were produced for Chinese and English readers, allowing the site design to be tailored to cultural differences. Over 15,000 pages of data were ported from the old to the new website, and integrated into a custom CMS system. The Chinese and Taiwanese versions of the site are currently live:

Austrade Website for the Australian Embassy

Part of the Australian Embassy`s mission in Japan is to spread and promote Australian culture and music. As part of that effort, Tsunago was enlisted to create a new brand look and feel for their music website. For this project Tsunago created the brand and design, and implemented a music player, while the web framework was inserted by the embassy team. The website shows off news, artists and events to a Japanese audience. The website is currently online at: http://music.austrade.or.jp/events

Tailored for multi-platform publishing and content management, Tsunago`s proprietary CMS is not only extraordinarily customizeable on short notice, but powerful enough to handle enterprise level applications with all sorts of cool stuff like precision user control, custom approval chains, approval and content sharing and advertisement management. And it`s blazingly simple and easy to use. The CMS is currently undergoing final release testing in time for fall 2012.

Tokyo Street Style

As an extension to the Japan-i project, "Tokyo Street Style" was launched to add new contents on the subject of fashion in Japan. Tsunago undertook weekly street photography and interviews of models around Tokyo. The project lasted approximately 2 years, finishing in spring 2012, with over 300 street style models shot and posted to the old Japan-i website.
